Bible characters navigating a world of interwoven scribble events. The scribbliness of the "negative space" sections of these drawings, for me, relates to a notion (kind of bible-derived, with a bit of hazy quantam physics) that there's some unpredictable, possibly dangerous energy that existed before we did; and now it continues to be the ambient background for whatever we're up to.

I chose bible narratives because they're old and weird and address basic crises/problems in blunt ways. Also they seemed appealingly big and fundamental, perhaps offering some slight psychic protection from unsettling downward trends indicated and embodied by our current political situation.
